Resource mapping exercise

Knowing what resources are readily available and effective for you will help you prepare to cope with changing mental health. Use the worksheet to think about your personal (e.g., skills, spirituality, etc.), social (e.g., friends, peers/colleagues, spiritual leader, etc.), and community (e.g., support groups, counselling, etc.) resources that you currently use or are available to you. These could include informal resources, such as peer support, and formal resources, such as therapy. Take a moment to think about areas where you think you may have gaps in your resources. For example, if you said your friends are a huge support for you, but don’t meet them often, what strategies can you use to make sure that you see your friends more regularly?
